From the late 1990s through the 2000s, Tiger Woods and Nike created one of the most influential runs of Tour golf clothing ever produced. The colours. The Swoosh placement. The Sunday red. No player has been more closely identified with what they wore on the course than Tiger Woods. From his professional debut with Nike in 1996 through to the later TW Collection, each period introduced new colours, shapes, materials and branding.
The Sunday-red polo became one of the most famous uniforms in sport, but the wider wardrobe was just as influential. Mock necks, zip collars, roomy windbreakers, carefully placed Swooshes and strong seasonal colours helped define how modern golf clothing could look.

The early Tiger Woods Yin Yang identity
One of the most distinctive details found across early Tiger-era Nike clothing is the Yin Yang-inspired mark. It appears across polos and outerwear from the late 1990s and early 2000s, including chest embroidery, sleeve branding and rear-neck details.
These pieces are often found in the navy, black, white and red colours closely associated with Tiger's on-course wardrobe, although other combinations also appear. We note the Yin Yang mark in individual product descriptions where it is present.
Not every Tiger Woods Nike item carries Yin Yang branding. Other pieces use the Nike Golf Shield, the Swoosh, later TW marks or a combination of different details, and we keep those distinctions clear in the individual descriptions.
More than memorabilia
The best Tiger-era Nike Golf pieces are interesting for more than their connection to one player. They also represent a particularly strong period of sportswear design: substantial fabrics, unusual weaves, bold but controlled colour palettes and shapes originally made to move through a golf swing.
A roomy windbreaker still works over a modern T-shirt or sweatshirt. A zip polo or mock neck can be worn with golf trousers, chinos or denim. The reference is unmistakable, but the clothing does not have to be treated as memorabilia or kept off the course.
